Kick the habit


kick the habit = stop doing something that is bad for you that you have done for a long time

A: "Hey Kyle, do you have an extra cigarette?"
K: "Sorry Adam I don't smoke anymore. I kicked the habit 6 weeks ago and I feel great now!"
